Advancing Knee Injury Care: Integrating Bowen Therapy into Sport Science

With Paula Esson

This practical workshop explores how the Bowen Technique may support assessment, treatment and rehabilitation in sports-related knee injury care. The session will consider fascia, the nervous system, tissue release, strength perception, muscle memory and coordination.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn and apply key Bowen moves for the knee and consider how this work can be integrated into sports injury management at different levels of performance.

ACL injury prevention in female footballers

The presentation will also examine neuromyofascial dynamics and non-contact ACL injury risk in female footballers, including biomechanical vulnerabilities, proprioceptive deficits and fascial chain imbalances.

About Paula Esson
