Core Bowen Therapy Training
Accepted initial training routes for those wishing to qualify as Bowen Therapy practitioners.
Training to become a Bowen practitioner
To train as a Bowen practitioner, you must start with a Core Bowen course. There are several interpretations of the work of Tom Bowen taught under the names Bowen Technique, Bowtech, NST, Bowen Therapy or similar.
Depending on your previous therapy experience or medical training, you may wish to select a Core Bowen course that uses teaching, assessment and clinical reasoning methods suited to your background. Core Bowen courses accepted by the BTPA have been assessed against the Bowen Therapy Core Curriculum and the National Occupational Standards for Bowen Therapy.
