Testimonial of your Bowen Therapy experience (how have you benefitted?): Clare was recommended by a colleague at work, her son had had a Bowen treatment, so I initially booked a treatment for my son who has problems with his ears. I also mentioned that, I thought, I had Tennis Elbow, Clare suggested I had a Bowen session, which I booked, even though I was sceptical about this as my Chiropractor, I have had a whiplash injury, had advised me to buy a strap. We arrived at the PHI clinic, Joshua had his treatment and up to now he has not had an ear infection since his Bowen, I am keeping my fingers crossed but I would have no hesitation in taking him back to Clare. Then it was my turn, I cannot believe how thorough Clare was, a full check-up of my well being and any injuries I had sustained plus medical history. Clare then started on the Bowen treatment which was a full body check but paying particular attention to the elbow. I have to say there seemed to be an instant effect as my arm felt hot but as the sceptic I would wait and see! I was in the clinic over an hour and I have to say that is value for money. I booked a second session so Clare could concentrate on my elbow and the results are amazing, the constant ache I had in my forearm has disappeared and what a relief that is.I have not needed another treatment but once again I would not hesitate to book Clare and I would recommend it to any of my family and friends. What complaint(s) or symptom(s) brought you to the Bowen Technique: Glue ear. How did your complaint(s)/symptom(s) affect you?: Listening and hearing clearly. What activities have you been able to resume since receiving Bowen sessions? How has your life been improved?: Hearing is very good. Testimonial of your Bowen Therapy experience (how have you benefitted?): While at primary school, my son suffered for many years with glue ear. He was due to have surgery for grommets when the Bowen treatment was introduced to me. After having just a few treatments the surgery was cancelled. He is now 17 and has never suffered with this complaint since. Reference:

What complaint(s) or symptom(s) brought you to the Bowen Technique: Glue ear (in my daughter aged 2-4) How did your complaint(s)/symptom(s) affect you?: Difficulty hearing and pain as well as stopping her from swimming. What activities have you been able to resume since receiving Bowen sessions? How has your life been improved?: Hearing better as well as no pain ever when swimming with head immersed in water. Testimonial of your Bowen Therapy experience (how have you benefitted?): My daughter has really benefited form her Bowen treatment. While suffering from some hearing loss and pain during bouts of glue ear, the Bowen has provided her with relief from the pain, as well as helping to drain the mucous helping to clear her colds quicker and having had regular treatments of Bowen between the ages of 2 and 4 she is now clear of glue ear. Bowen has provided her with relief from the pain and symptoms of glue ear that she could not get from antibiotics or any other traditional treatment from the doctor. What complaint(s) or symptom(s) brought you to the Bowen Technique: Ear infection Testimonial of your Bowen Therapy experience (how have you benefitted?): I had suffered from an ear infection and heavy cold for which I visited my GP who prescribed me with ear and nose drops. Although the ear drops cleared some pain they had no effect on my ear blockage which was akin to how ears feel on a flight. However, I had not been able to unblock my ears after 2 weeks and was suffering from reduced heating. Therefore, I tried Bowen therapy and following just one session my symptoms improved quickly. I returned for a second follow up session and since have not encountered any further problems. Should such symptoms reoccur in my future I would have Bowen therapy again. Reference:

How has your life been improved?: Fully Testimonial of your Bowen Therapy experience (how have you benefitted?): Bowen Therapy was a fascinating experience, it was so relaxing and gentle but the results were dramatic. I was able to experience a big reduction in my muscle tension, anxiety and tinnitus which had been plaguing me. I am very grateful to my therapist Rachael, and would highly recommend Bowen to anyone. What complaint(s) or symptom(s) brought you to the Bowen Technique: Labyrinthitis - 6 months ago How did your complaint(s)/symptom(s) affect you?: Could not sit on chair without rocking What activities have you been able to resume since receiving Bowen sessions? How has your life been improved?: Frequent dizzy spells, nausea, low energy, fatigue and anxiety attacks. Testimonial of your Bowen Therapy experience (how have you benefitted?): After first 2 sessions, symptoms increased. After 3rd session I had two weeks with almost no rocking/dizzy spells. It was magic. Although it did not last long, I continued Bowen as this is the only treatment that I found which automatically gets me out of my symptoms. Hope one day I would be fully cured.
